Dermatology Observership Program
Purpose and Content of the Program:
- Dermatology Observership/Fellowship Program is suitable for all doctors interested in this field. The aim of this program is to advance participants' ability to understand, diagnose, treat and prevent skin diseases.
- The program includes inpatient and outpatient rotations as well as practical studies and theoretical training.
- Fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with dermatologists in sub-specialty clinics and multidisciplinary university hospitals.
- Dermatology training content includes;
- The skin exam
- Basic science of the skin
- Morphology
- Dermatologic therapies
- Benign skin lesions; molluscum contagiosum, warts, acne, rosacea
- Introduction to dermoscopy
- Psoriasis
- Sexual and gender diverse (sgd) dermatology
- Atopic dermatitis
- Contact dermatitis
- Chronic itch
- Adult cutaneous fungal infections; dermatophytes, yeasts.
- Pediatric cutaneous fungal İnfections
- Red scaly rash
- Actinic keratosis & squamous cell carcinoma
- Basal cell carcinoma
- Evaluation of pigmented lesions
- Melanoma
- Bacterial skin infections
- Stasis dermatitis and leg ulcers
- Drug reactions
- Petechiae, purpura and vasculitis
- Urticaria
- Blisters
- Viral exanthems
- Infestations and bites
